Question Insurance for late teen/early 20s on an SC300?

Hey everyone, I was wondering how much are you paying for insurance and which insurance company do you have? Also if it is relatively high because of Points, please state them

21, 3points ,AAA, 2k-2.5k a year full coverage 100/60 I think

insur depends on so many things.... best way to find out how much you would pay is just call up your insur. and get a Quote.

three tickets for 11-15 over, one DWI (I was 18, give me a break, goes off my record in december) full coverage on a 21 year old male, no wrecks, 500 deductable, $110 a month. Keep in mind that I listed my house out in the sticks as a location, and that it is quite a bit cheaper than when you live in the city. Also, I have a 3.4 gpa and have the car alarm discount. Good grades always help. Insurance should drop a lot when my DWI goes off my record.

Arkansas is not as bad as California about the ticket thing. They did take it for 90 days, with a temp for work.

Thanks guys I appreciate the response, and I apologize for taking so long to respond but I was on vacation and didn't have a connection to the internet. I will start calling companies soon to see what I get quoted for.

How does the DWI go out your record? Will it go off your driving record and crimnial record as well?

I am not sure about the criminal record thing, it was a misdemenor (however its spelled). Driving record, it goes off of that in 3 years from conviction. I got my DWI before they passed that 5 year law. Only some insurance companies check back 5 years.

17

$840 per year w/ driver's ed & good student discount

no points! no tickets!

The main reason that it's so cheap is because I am not listed as the primary driver, my dad is. Since I'm only a secondary driver, the price is lowered considerably. All in all, I'd say it worked out pretty darn good for me

I think he's asking for someone on their own policy

You should check to see what it would be if you were primary driver... I'm sure it would prolly go to around $2400/yr no matter what your driving record is

Being 17 with an expensive-to-work-on car or a car with a bad history sucks ***...

My 300zxTT when I was 17 was $244/month, I had one ticket, good grades, student discount
