Glad to hear you got one of the turbos that worked! The fluttering noise you hear is compressor serge, the blow off valve isn't opening fast enough so when the butterfly valve on the throttle body closes all the air the turbo is still trying to push reverses and comes back out the turbo, this is actually not very good for the turbo due to every time it happens the turbo pauses or get thrown in reverse, you don't seem to have it as bad. Anti-Serge housing are made so all that air escapes around the turbo instead of threw the turbine. Nice numbers, 19 psi is smart the bearings are usually the only problem with ebay turbos and you can tell once one goes cause the oil passing threw the turbo likes to leak and burn, but using 19 psi is under powering the turbo leading not to pushing it so hard.
+1 Mickey Thompson ET Streets for the win I have these chilling in my room on drag rims

550cc Supra Injectors
Tial style BOV
Tial style wastegate

I'm not sure why the turbo makes that fluttering sound when the engines getting bogged out but I was told that it was normal due to the turbo not having an anti surge compressor housing so I just roll with it. so anyway, I think this was one of the fourth gear pulls

oh and I highly recommend Mickey Thompson ET Streets. I have absolutely zero wheel spin even with 407whp. It almost hurts in first gear lol.

I knew about compressor surge when you let off the gas and the BOV isn't adjusted right but mine only does it when its under half throttle and bogging the car down. but I'm very happy with this turbo. And again ive heard alot of good things about them as long as you take them apart and give them a good cleaning first. when I got mine and took it apart there were still some shavings inside the compressor housing as everyone had told me. I just cleaned them out and good to go. 1siksc, Mickey Ts FTMFW!

nice man. looks like youve been doing some work since the last time i saw your car. do you just have the MTs on the TT wheels or did you get rid of the wheels you had on it all together?

Well if you purchased a turbo for 300$ and now getting over 400 hp I can see why everyone loves the 1jz's and 2jz's more than my 1uz.

Man thats alot of bang for your buck...cool car man good luck.

Nice numbers man and the video.
$300 for a turbo doesnt stop there though, what about intercooler, piping, safc, b/o valve, waste gate, manifold tune, gaskets hoses, dp etc, it all adds up guys.
I'd be very impressed with the ebay turbo if it last a good year though

I had an ebay turbo with garrett internals. It lasted me a long time. And the car was drifted a lot. By a lot I mean once a month going ***** to the wall. I cant say I dont reccomend them honestly...

Man alot of negative feedback about the e-bay turbos-------I would really love to hear more from people that have used these turbos personally.

The good vs the bad.
