I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't heard of anybody doing it yet.

It wouldn't be worth it mate, get it done professionally. It's so much hassle doing it yourself and it will never fit right. You'll always end up with bubbles and there will be no warranty. You'll also find they post you the rear window trim in 3 sections, which will be visible to everyone.

Are you talking about the outside window Trim?Chrome Shixt?

I bought 'blk out Tape" and De-chromed my SC the day I got it.I hate that Lexus does that on all their Models.

^ what he said. If you do it right, which i didn't, it looks good from far away, and if people are looking for it, only then will they notice it. It's like $5. And i used 1 whole roll to cover all thr trim, so use sparingly.

http://www.amazon.com/BLACK-OUT-TAPE...6148932&sr=8-1

use this to black it out yourself. if you have a razor blade and a steady hand it works pretty well.

lol start practicing now!

i just used this to cover up the black paint that covers up the silver window trim because it was chipping badly and it worked great. i had never worked with applying vinyl or anything and it went well. ill admit that i got a small bubble on each side but its barely noticeable and looks great considering my limited experience, so i recommend the job to just about anyone. its been holding up well it seems also.

good luck!

If I get bored one night of these nights before the weekend I'll give this a shot. I always put it off before but I need to get around to it.
