Lexus wants crazy amounts of money for their valve cover gaskets and grommets for the bolts. My SC has right at 200k and I've been smelling a light oil smell after driving most times and figure it's past time to change these gaskets, considering they're 17 years old with quite a few miles. I try to use OEM parts whenever I can, but I can't justify paying that price when Felpro probably makes their gaskets anyways, or some other company you can easily buy at a parts store at a drastically reduced price. Advance Auto has both gaskets with the grommets for $41.69 w/o the spark plug tube seals, made by Fel Pro.
Has anyone used this set with good things to say?

Noooooooooo spend the extra money and get the factory gaskets. The factory gaskets will last 100k plus. The aftermarket probably won't. Just my experience you get what you pay for,

I'm checking out the Beck Arnley set now. For their valve cover gasket set with grommets and spark plug tube seals all included in one set, it's about $42 from Rock Auto. Fel Pro doesn't sell a kit with all 3, only the valve cover gasket and grommets, and you have to purchase two sets of spark plug tube seals separately, which totals almost $72. I'm sure Federal Mogul makes both brand names, but it's kinda suspicious that one set is so much more than the other for the same thing.
