pioneer stereo p-4200dvd install??
I have bought the harness metra, hooked it up. It is powered up but will not eject and flip monitor down to have access to load cd/dvds.I noticed my sub woofer is not hooked up and not working, What do i need to get this monitor working? Am i missing a plug thatconnects the sub woofer to the pioneer? On the monitor certain options are not lite up like it is not connected.???

hey im not sure if this will help you but i just installed that unit in my car today. i originally had the metra wiring harness 70-1761 but when i had the unit hooked up with the two harnesses in that kit i had nothing, no power whatsoever. so i went to best buy and picked up the 70-8112 harness and it worked perfect. heres the link its cheaper here than at best buy:

im not sure about the sub thing. mine seems to be working. in another thread a guy says that you should use the large harness from 70-1761 to connect to the sub but that harness doesnt seem to have any wires for it. it has power, ground, acc and front speaker connects.
another thing that might be a good tip for you is connect the power antenna wire to the remote or amp signal wire and it will work.
good luck

i have double din (Eclipse AVN2210p). Follow these guides and everything has been working good since. You dont need to buy a harness, Ive heard most them suck
1. HOW-TO: SC300/SC400 Install Aftermarket Head Unit, OEM Speakers and Sub Working!
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...b-working.html
Finally, the one-stop thread on how to wire an aftermarket head unit into your SC300/SC400, without having to install extra amps or speakers, etc. I have all 7 OEM speakers working - including the subwoofer - so if you're planning on installing a new head unit, this is for you.
2. HOW TO: SC300/SC400 Double-DIN Stereo Install + Metra Mod for Double-DIN Head Units
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...ead-units.html
The very popular Metra double-DIN kit has a flaw - but after some small modifications, can be as solid as OEM. This shows how to combine the Metra installation kit with your factory radio brackets, including step-by-step on getting the radio out of the dash.
