two questions:


1..MANARAY-how much does the exhaust your talking about go for (4.0GT) and will the sound be nicer.

2..ANYBODY WHO HAS AN ANSWER-is the JIC made for the SC400? and if so can anybody verify that other than a website that is selling it, cause i don't take their word on things.

Hey, 808sc300 yours does stick out further... But, seriously I did notice that your JIC exhaust set up sticks kinda far out from under your rear bumper, at least a couple inches, more then Wmulli's set up. Wmuli's looks like it is nice and flush with the stock bumper. You can really tell by looking at the "bullet" sticker/badge in the JIC exhaust - on yours is so visible and on Wmulli's it is partly covered by the bumper.

So Wmulli, would you happen to have any of your JIC pics from the side view to see what the exhaust looks like on a stock sc? Thanks

Yea, I can't seem to figure out why mine sticks out so much more than wmulli's. I mean as it was being installed everything lined up fine and felt right. But I will have pics up soon of my JIC installed, hopefully the shots will turn out good.

If you decide to sell the JIC exhaust please shoot me a PM or email... I am about to buy an exhaust and well if you decide to come off the one you have well maybe it will work out for the both of us...I live in Ga so I have no problem passing inspection since we have none... Thanks T.D

hey wmulli i installed my jic exhaust on my Ls400 today and i see why u want those silencers and just think mine are brand new so they will get lounder!!!!!! i'm going to install the silencers and see how much of a difference they make, it sould make a real difference. they are loud but they sound soooooo good. my car sounds like a BIG BLOCK american v8!!! the car seems to rev quicker and smoother so all and all i'm happy with the system. i'm so happy it dosen't sound anything like a honda!!!!

I'd hate to have to sell them, but without silencers they're of no use to me. If I can't resolve this with JIC soon, I'll let you know.

i'd prefer them over the Greddy MX.
never saw the JIC exhaust actually on the SC b4.
i just gotta save up...$900 more dollars to get them.

Good luck on ordering the JIC exhaust the list price just went up 25% in the last couple of weeks. So everyone who already ordered them got a great deal. because now they are pretty pricey.

Here's the latest scoop. Steve Ganz got the silencers from JIC for me. He is sending them to me now. They should be here Monday. Props to Steve for taking care of this for me!!

I also just received a note from JIC's USA Sales Manager apologizing for the problems and offering to send me the parts ASAP. I plan to give him an earful!

Also, Steve told me he's working on getting a new, custom exhaust system from JDM Kimura Engineering for the SC300/SC400 (you listening Manaray?). As usual with custom orders, he needs 10 orders to start, however, he's paying for the "mold" or whatever they use to model the system. If anyone's interested. drop Steve an email.


And Tommyd, I'm keeping you in mind if I decide to sell. I'll let you know after I try the silencers.
