Guys, I usually don't post these threads, but I need your opinion. I found a '99 with decent miles that I'm considering driving down to see. Does the fit on the fenders indicate they've been off of the car at some point? Other than trunk and bumpers, do you see any obvious paintwork I'm missing?

 

Something doesnt look right. Then again, it's almost a 12 year old car. The
rear badge says 400 SC instead of SC400. The front bumper is obviously a
different color shade. The best idea is to bring a mechanic and a friend that
has body work experience. Good luck!

You guys have confirmed what I thought so far, so probably a pass.

I'm terribly picky about paint. I'll be able to tell in person with one walk-around what has and hasn't been painted. Used car dealers usually don't like me too much.

Anyone in Rochester feel like stopping by and having a look?

 

I talked to the dealer the car has a salvage title.

On another note, I saw a second generation GS a few days ago with 300 GS emblems. You'd think they'd put the correct emblems on these cars after an accident.
