windows wont go down when the doors open?

yeah im taking all the tape off the harness leading from the door into the car and it appears that some1 b4 has tried to fix this problem. There a white and black wire that is broken and has been taped up with electrical tape so imma try to reconnect the wires and i pray this works lol

ok so tested all the wires in the window switch with my scosche curcit tester and every wire is lighting up "BLUE" with power except the pink/black & green wire are both lighting up "RED" I dont have a diagram of the wiring for the car or windows so I'm kinda searching in the dark for the problem? has anyone been down this road b4? Theres still power to the mirrors and locks but the lights on the window swith itself will not light up.. whats the deal this is a nightmare!
