Hi fellow lexmembers! I have two questions which I can not find the answer to from days of searching everywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 - What is the output of the stock amp for the subwoofer? I understand it is a 10 inch, just want to know the output so I can replace it with my pioneer 10 if possible (want some more wide range bass)
2 - I read the write up about how to install an aftermarket deck and still be able to get the stock sub working, but.... my aftermarket deck which i just bought has only ONE plug for the subwoofer out (compared to my previous decks which had the white and red)..how would I go about installing this? Here is the deck link if anyone may have had experience with it before. http://www.amazon.com/VR3-VRCD400-SD.../dp/B000MW6PGY

1. idk the actual watt output but the stock sub is 1ohm ..so if you get a sub you want it at 1ohm as well to get the most power out of the amp..if you get one at 2-4ohms the amp wont be as powerful..and dont get anything below 1ohm because it can and most likely will blow the amp
2. subwoofer outs should only be a single plug....white and red are for left and right since its a sub you dont need/have a left and right u just need a single mono channel to play the low frequency

I have aftermarket amp and 10in sub. Looks factory but sounds so much better, you can't compare to stock. Stock sub amp is too weak, and I'm not talking about rattling noise with aftermarket, you just get much deeper, and cleaner bass with aftermarket.
