I got a spare 1UZ yesterday and I'd like to dress some of the parts up while I replace the timing belt/water pump, gaskets, manifolds with my headers, etc and would like to know what you guys think would be some good colors to work well with the spruce silver exterior. I was kinda thinking along the lines of dark graphites, or smoke/charcoal colors, maybe even a satin black that looks sorta like black primer, that kinda look. Maybe even thinking of polishing the raised ribs on the intake manifold, and painitng the valleys between them, and the rest of it.

Do any of you guys have dressed up V8s with pictures I can see for ideas?
