Tensioner
So since I've yet to get any other threads answered I'll try once more for this topic.
The tensioner assembly on my car (for the sepertine belt) has been cracked where the pulley mounts. When the bolt goes through it, it just free spins at the end due to the pulley rubbing on the bolt.
I'm going to get a used/new one and just replace it.
My question is, how hard is it to get to? I know it's three bolts that look like they are behind the timing cover.
Do I have to take the crank pulley off, timing covers, etc to get to it?

So, from what I gathered (from misc threads) the belt covers are the only things that have to come off.
I can't believe I can't ever get a damn response on this forum, ever.

It's actually pretty easy to get to. It's been a while but if i remember correctly you drain the coolant, pull the battery, battery tray, top radiator hose, fan and fan shroud. From there you put a wrench on the tensioner and torque to relieve tension, slip the belt off, pull the covers off and unbolt the tensioner. reverse order to reassemble and refill coolant.
I did mine by myself in about an hour and a half on Christmas morning 2008 before going to my dads. I've taken all of that stuff off probably ten times before though so if you've never done it, allow some extra time.

I've gotten the belt off and tensioner pulley off and back on already so that's not a problem.
Is there a particular order you need to go for the covers Enigma? And thank you!

Remove from the top down. There is the one that covers the very top where your oil cap is. It has 4 screws in the back and one on each side. I don't remember how many the next one down has but I think it's only those two covers. But like i said, it's been a while

Simply remove the upper and middle timing covers, and you can get to it. I can get pictures of exactly what needs to be removed for you tomorrow morning, and even have a tensioner if you need one.
Start to finish should only take about 20-30 minutes, and I will take enough pics to make it very easy.
2 PM's sent that should get you moving. Sorry I didnt see your thread earlier, I would have helped out sooner. Feel free to PM me if you have a question like this that goes unanswered.

Big thank you to everyone, especially turbodremz!
I've already pulled the top of the timing cover before (about 50 gazillion times for spark plug tweaks/issues along with the throttle body ^_^)
This should be a walk in the park (10mins?) with Air Tools and a small ratchet :P. I've taken the belt off a couple of times now (with the tensioner pulley) and I've got that down to about 2 minutes now. :P
