Head gasket thickness for an Na-T with Wiseco Pistons ect.
Hey there again,
got a new issue that surfaced with the Na-T build... got the pistons in the block.. but after realizing that the block was decked .010" and the head surfaced .040" i noticed the pistons stick up slightly higher then the block??!!!
I am using the Wiseco K550M87 Pistons (Toyota turbo -14.8cc 1.338 X 87MM)
Comp. Ht.:1.3380
Bore: 3.4251
and a Cometic 87mm head gasket (.051" (1.295400MM) 3Layer MLS)
WHAT SIZE (THICK) HEAD GASKET DO I NEED TO BE SAFE?
Is this going to change my compression ration from my goal? 8.5:1? Should/ Do i need a 2.5 or 3mm thick head gasket.
