welcome, i just purchased a white sc400 earlier today for $3.5k (orig. $4.2k), which took about four hours to test-drive, inspect, and negotiate. now, i'm glad to be a proud, new owner of an sc as well. hope you get your car up and running again. =]

thanks! hope you enjoy your new baby it took me about a week of contemplation and three different test drives. mine's the royal jade green, i inspected it, yet knowing the airbag sensor light was on, i decided to go for it. plus all my buddies are psyched about getting my car up and running again! its amazing the amount of motivation you get from seeing all the potential with SCs. and a huge wow factor no doubt.

no the lock nuts are not the same buit the dealer can take them off for you and replace them with new ones and a new key ---for a cost of course------on another note---you dont need a obd scanner to check your codes------just use a paper clip or a wire with two bare ends and put them in terminals e1 and te1 i believe.
Than u count the flashes and check the codes.
Good luck ---sorry about the issues u have.
