if i were to go with the cheaper solid supra mount, is it the same size as the rubber one for the sc? as in could i mix them?
it looks like the previous owner of my car replaced one of the motor mounts not too long ago and its the rubber kind. but i believe that the other one is bad now and dont feel like paying the high price of the rubber one and could care less about engine vibration.

To clarify, the bottom part of the Supra mounts bolt up and work perfect. What may not work is the upper section of the mount, also known as the brackets. Use the stock SC bracket, and the bottom "mount" from the Supra and you will be fine.
As far as mixing one Supra mount and one stock SC mount, I think you will be fine, but there may be a slight height variance, causing your motor to tilt a bit. Maybe not, but I would just buy two Supra mounts and do it once.

I just finish a swap and it came out of a JDM Supra and it came with the swap came with the long mount since the swap has 13k on it i just went ahead and used the the mount that came with the swap.
"Cherplex" has the long mount on his SC since he has a USDM GTE in his car.

I personally have a Soarer with a 1jz.. There are two types of Supra Mounts. There are the liquid filled ones and the rubber based one. The liquid filled ones are more expensive and are prone to leaking over time. The rubber based ones are in cased in metal with a solid mounting point that goes through and through so its one complete bolt and not two separate bolts.
I would just get the rubber based one as they are quite good and can save you some good money and could hold decent power.
