Default Supra Motor Mount - differences

I drive a 92 SC300. I want to replace the front motor mounts. I've read in various places that some people just run Supra NA mounts. So I went online to order some and here is what I found:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

There is one style that is $150 and another that is $61. Is there some huge difference that means I need to get one or the other? Obviouslly I'd like to just order the cheaper one, but don't want to if it is completely wrong.

If anyone has any insight into this, please let me know!

Another place I was looking at getting new mounts was here:
http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...or1jz2jz7m.php

But again, if there is some huge difference I don't know about, well I don't want to end up with something I can't use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

That's great news Could you maybe expand more (just for my own knowledge) if you know anything about the differences? Do all SC's use the cheaper ones?

SC mounts has rubber on them that why it goes bad. Supra has metal instead of rubber. That the only difference i notice.

No, SCs dont use the cheaper ones from the factory. They use a more expensive rubber one to dampen the engine vibrations more. Unfortunately, they don't hold as much power as the Supra mounts and are prone to coming apart. The Supra mounts are more durable, but do transfer a bit more vibration.

Both of the ones above are for a Supra however. So I guess I still don't understand why one is 3x the price.

I will just order up the cheap ones though and hope for the best.

One is for the early Supras, which use a taller mount similar to the TRD in height. I guess they just charge more since there is physically more material in them? Not sure on that one.

OK interesting. And the SC300's obviouslly don't use the taller ones then?

Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated!!

And the mounts are the same for both right? I can just order 2 of the same ones and I'm set, they aren't different ones on each side?

So where or how do you get the more rigid mounts? Have to change mounts and brackets I assume?

No. The cheaper Supra mounts mentioned above are the more rigid kind. They bolt right up to the stock SC brackets.

Both of them will work, i've installed both of them in the SC3 and they work perfect.

The 97/98 mount will lower you engine about ~1/2", I have always use those on my swap and never had any vibration issues.
I have also used the lon one since they came with the swap, and they were in prestine condition so i went ahead and used them, but they are a little Pita to deal with since they don't flex that much.
