Our SC's values
Who votes...Yes or No...on raising our car's values! I believe many people undervalue our car considering it's advancement's for such a year. And, so rare to find a clean non beat up one nowadays. Also, by raising our car's values..who knows..maybe we can get all the cheap ***** from buying these cars and throwing fat scraper rims and ghetto-ing/rice-ing it out!!!

Leta do it. This is what everyone needs to do:
1) Fix ur stupid needles finally.
2) Clean ur headlights.
3) Get new trunk shocks.
4) Give her a good detail.
Then I think we're ready to raise the price by $1K.

These cars in my area are already priced fairly high.
In fact they are overpriced as it is------im not saying that the car isnt a great car or ahead of its time or anything but I dont think we can push it too far------people just wont pay it at the end of the day.
I was very grateful to find a very clean 93 sc400 with very low mileage for a low price------but in my area a deal on these cars is hard to find.
To be honest I need to think a little more about the pro's and con's to raising the cars value.
Ill re-post later on.

There are many SC's out there that are well modded. Many of which look & perform smoken hot.
But we would really need to make a whole lot more boosted SCs with kits & wheels to increase the street cred.
Its like the MK4 Supra effect and how everyone knows about the MK4 Supra and it's potential. Its almost a household name.
I can assure you that if ALL SCs were like this one they would cost a lot more and be harder to get a hold of just like the Mk4 Supra.

I just paid 4k for a 95 SC300 in Teal Green with tan leather. Has 130k on it and is in great shape.
Im stoked. This is my first Lexus and I cant wait to Mod it. I came from the Evo a few cars ago so i know about fast cars.

Please give me an idea of what you consider cheap.
The only cheap ones I ever see have very high mileage and the average person(myself included) wouldnt touch it with a ten foot pole.
Any sc of any year with decent mileage goes for quite a bit in my area.
Heres a few examples.

its just demand for these cars arent high...they really arent the best looking cars in stock form..at first i was looking at mine like ehh its got potential for sure and meets my criteria(luxury, rwd and big whp potential)
after owning it for a little bit i love the look of it(92 wingless) and i absolutely love how the car drives..and i only paid 1900 for it..needed a few things at the time but still in good condition overall only 139k and the interior is in pretty damn good shape(leather is almost perfect)

The difference here is once a car has over 200 000 kilometres---which is about 130 000 miles or so------people dont really want to touch the car---------although people that know these cars know they will last much longer than that but still------------any sc of any year that is in decent condition with low to mideum mileage is still going for quite a bit of money.
Thanks for posting those though--interesting.

Of course the car is worth a lot more when you own it and think it's the greatest thing since the invention of birth control.
Most SCs are beat up, and they're not anything 'too' special that would warrant a higher price tag. Yes it was ahead of its time in some ways, but we're not talking Aston Martin or anything here.
