Default climate control help hurry in..

ok so i bought a climate control off another forum member supposedly out of a 93..92-94 are suppose to be green..now him getting it from a junkyard he didnt know if it worked or not or the color..

well get it installed and to my surprise its mint..however ..its amber not green

so what can i do..is it possible to change out the bulbs? but what about the lcd screen its amber no matter what right? or is there bulbs i can change out there too?

im about to take my stock bleed out climate control apart to see what i find but any info would be VERY helpful..thanks

figured it out..
the bulbs are pretty much the same between the two..the difference is the "nipple" that goes over the bulb..the one i received had white ones and a VERY light blue one behind the lcd..
i switched those with my dark blue ones and got the greenish color ..the lcd is a little bit darker then the radio lcd but pretty close..mod can close thanks

how did you get to the bulbs that control the lcd lighting... I recently bought one of a member here and cannot get the backlight on the lcd to work.... The first 3 bulbs for the buttons backlight are easy to get too!

..take those first three bulbs out..pop that white plastic piece off...theres two screws on the black pcb that you need to remove..once u do that pop the black pcb out of the plastic housing..then ull see a white plastic piece hugging the lcd..gently pushed the lcd downward using the white plastic piece until u can pry it over the 3 bulbs then it should come off....these 3 bulbs on my original climate control are solder into the pcb...the newer control seems that they MIGHT come out but i did not attempt this because it was not needed..

if they dont pop out..you can change them by unsoldering the old and re soldering in the new if you have fairly good soldering skills.
