Default How to remove IACV??

i removed the TB and removed the top part of the sensor with 2 screws. i also removed the 4 screws holding the metal clip on the TB, i thought the sensor would slid out from here but i cant seem to get it out. What is my next step to remove it? my car is a 93 sc300 5speed.

Am I looking at this wrong, or is that your tps that you've taken apart in the first pic?

I know I've seen a good write up on the IACV before. I'll see if I can find it.

Here's some reference material for you:

BTW, when you remove the screws for the IACV, Do it on a bench (not on the car) and be sure to use a really good quality and properly sized screw driver, as the screw heads strip VERY easily. Some people just outright replace the screws with an allen head type.

yea you're removing the wrong piece in the pics..the iacv is the one with 2 screws holding it in on the left of the pic.

yea becareful i just did this the other day because of this thread..i didnt look at ur pics and thought you would of gotten it by now but anyway..
the screws are a PITA!!!! and i definitely stripped the bottom one beyond recognition ...i ended up having to use a pair of vice grips clamped onto the out side of it and oddly enough it loosened with hardly any force...
