Hello, I just purchased a 1992 SC400 w/ 63,000 miles. I have been driving it for about a month, and now I do not have any heat. When I turn the "auto" to HOT, the A/C comes on, but he fan turns off. It is going to start getting cold and I will need the heat. This is my first experience with a Lexus.....like the car, but cannot afford an expensive fix. Does anybody have any ideas?
PS...the engine temp gauge reads fine.
Thanks for the help!!

Thanks Li Ls4, I finally got a chance to try your suggestion, and after switching the vacuum hoses I am getting warm in from the heat vents. I have not noticed any enging cooling changes, although when I turn the auto climate control to HOT the a/c light still comes on. Cannot figure this one out, but at least I have heat.
Thanks Again!!

When in AUTO mode the a/c light goes on always, that´s not a problem to fix, is the way it works.
In AUTO mode when you put the heater to HOT and your fans don´t work, wait till the engine warms up and then they´ll start.
