Yep, I'm with you guys on this one. Seems like there was definitely something else going in here. Maybe incorrect nut shape (flat vs. taper vs. ball) for the wheels being used, or stress from use of wheel spacers or over/under-torquing, or lack of hubcentric spacer.....or something!!?? But for it them have rusted to the point of failure would mean most of the rest of your car would have already fallen to the ground in rust flakes first

So far I need
Right axle shaft: $160
Right strut bar (from scraping the ground): $60
Right wheel hub with studs and bearings: $200

Funny thing is that I cant tow it to a shop so I'm stuck here. I had to sign a waiver of damage before they towed the car and it was almost impossible to get onto the bed.

Anyone good with rotor/axle/stud intallation in FL lol?

my guess is either improper torquing...or the wheel wasn't sitting on the hub properly. All OEM wheels are designed to rest on the wheel hub. Lug nuts keep the wheel on the hub. If you have an after market wheel with a larger hub than the one on your car then the stress increases on the wheel studs and if it lasts too long then they'll snap and you'll have a runaway wheel. My suggestion: get a set of hub-centric spacer rings so the wheels can sit properly on the wheel hub.

can't be over torqued doubt it. Because the studs broke in half and prob wasn't replaced for many years.

I think its lack of hubcentirc ring on wheels that don't directly fit the hub.

That puts a lot of stress on the studs because they are supporting everything. Especially if you have heavier lower offset wheels

A problem I've always been interested in is that the 5x114.3 wheel spacing is EXTREMELY similar to the 5x115 spacing. In fact, the difference is so minimal that the opinion on chat forums is divided on whether it is safe to use or not/whether they are practically interchangeable.

In fact, there are many wheel shops that will sell you a 5x115 wheel as a "5x114.3" and vice versa.

I'm curious to know if your wheel has a manufacturer's stamping on the inside that states that it is in fact a 5x114.3.

Please let us know...

^ That's just a bad idea in general. It's not going to fit right.

UPDATE WITH PICS!!
After looking at those pics, I'm wondering if the rotors were seated properly. I guess it could be that they just look loose after falling though.
