Then pop the hood, hook up jumper cables to the dead battery, and follow scviolence's method here:

(3 months? No worries, the smell should be gone by then)

Yes, it's my first post. I need to get the ****ing key out of my trunk.
So here's the deal:
The car was locked. I left the key in the trunk and closed it. The window on my car is broken so I pushed it down with my hands and crawled into the car. I unlocked the door and the alarm went off. According to the manual, the doors should not open when the alarm is armed, but somehow I got it open and the alarm stopped sounding. I then proceeded to try the recommended paper clip thing to no avail whatsoever.
So I touched the paper clip to the two sides of the white connector with the blue and black wires. Nothing happened.

Did you try popping the trunk switch? Or is your button with the keyhole pushed in? If so i remember reading someone found a little side hole on the button and pushed a metal clip back and was able to pop the trunk switch.
