Installed ebay oil catch. Installed dash 12 lines to valve cover and such. It was a lot of work to put it on. I blocked off the stupid oil level indicators. Had to retap the holes to get the plugs to fit. Then got a 3/8s plug to close one of the openings. Added a 12 weld on the other end. And finally mounted it . I just turned a $40 dollar can into a $90 dollar one lol. Oh well.

Started noticing a fluid leaking on my driveway a few days ago so I put a piece of white foam packing material underneath to test the color. It was bright red. I'm either leaking power steering fluid from the return line or my rack is toast. I'm going to take a look this weekend and find out what the damage is.

We just did TheKevin's this past 2 days, and next week I'm gonna do chargerfan's. My advice is, just get the Autozone/O'Reilly one with the lifetime warranty, and change PS pump, alt, rack & pinion, outer tie rods(would be the best time to do it now if you haven't done it) and might as well change the high pressure hose. When I did mine, I did all of that and haven't had a problem with it since. I strongly recommend dooing all at the same time since they're all connected. Good luck.

I just replaced my power steering pump about 3 months ago. I'm hoping it's just a crack in the return line or something. It seems to be leaking from the center of my engine area. Usually when a rack leaks you'll notice it on the sides where the tie rods are. I only have 147k miles so it sounds a bit early for the rack to be toast, but who knows. I've never replace one before so I have no clue what I'm doing. I'll probably have a shop take care of it to be honest. Thanks for the tips though.

Every month it costs me $300-700 in repairs.

Steering rack is fairly easy to do. There's only a total of 4 bolts holding it to the subframe. Yeah, from what I've learned from these cars, replace everything that's connected to the part that went bad, or more repairs later on. Good luck though.
