You are talking about valve cover gasket right?

If it's a blown cylinder head gasket, that is a huge job!

We are talking apples and oranges. Valve cover gaskets would take about 3 hours labor to change out. Head gaskets would be about 13 hours to change.

I'm talk'in 1992 SC400 labor times here.

I valve cover is annoying enough, a head gasket would be a headache especially with the motor in the car. I hate how the sc3 has the intake manifold and throttle body sitting right on top of the valve covers. Makes just changing out the spark plugs a pita. One of the good reasons i have a gte.

Drove it through road construction. Literally the worst experience of my life. I saw the "Rough Road" sign and almost cried.

Took her up to 100mph yesterday. I gotta say the old 2JZ with the 5 speed really pulls on the highway, and I'm amazed at how composed this car is at that type of speed, its just like you're driving 60mph. I need to go out of town a bit to really let her rip and report back.

I'm talking about valve cover! I'll take a picture of it tomorrow. On the bright side, I started doing my leather today!

Got my bottom rears on. It's so tedious. Top not done for comparison.

Need to do back rear, 2 front seats, 2 headrest, center arm rest, and 2 side arm rest on door panels.

at 170mph you feel like you're at 100. It's crazy how comfortable and safe you feel at this speed in the car. Just hope no one's coming in your way/at your lane at that speed if you have the stock brakes^^

Default Looked at how dirty my car is

And decided I would rather drop the rear a little more than wash it.

I love coilovers................. this is my first car that has them. Close second to airbags.
