I cut the springs because it looks and handles 100% better than whatever the previous owner installed before. That's why I cut the springs. I dont care about cleaning up the car right now. I wanna make it driveable.
Whatever man. You ghettoed it instead of waiting for your coils, then you call me a hater for telling you what's up. SMH

holy hell, everyone needs to just post up pics of isht you did to their 20 year old lexus or shut the hell up.

that being said, I don't have any thing to post other than i used mine to commute to work.

on a side note, that yellow sc up there requires a new gt wing. Roof line or bust.

Fixed my passenger side outside door handle. It stopped opening and thankfully I didn't roll the window down. The new clip was $2.64 from Toyota.

It would have been easier if I didn't have this in my way.

From what i've seen it's always the bottom part of what snaps into the door handle that breaks.

New clip in place. I checked it like 100x before putting everything back together.

I'm glad I only needed a new clip vs a whole new assembly if I had snapped the rod by opening the window.

I drove it to the auto parts store to pick up some new trunk struts and oil. Hopefully I get around to actually making use of those items.

I put some gas in it and drove my sister to school. I don't drive it much since I get pulled over every time I go near my sister's school.

I might order my spark plug wire today too.

Durrby,

I feel your pain. I had to replace one not long ago on my drivers door.

Washed it, and then met up with a friend of mine from Texas who just purchased a '97 sc400. We took a few pictures of the cars. He's going to send me a copy of them later on this weekend when he makes it back home to the Lonestar state.

I also got to drive his sc400. Stock suspension is sooo much more comfortable than coilovers.
