I received my hood and trunk struts a few days ago, as well as 2 key blanks to replace my broken one.
I installed the struts for both the hood and trunk. If you notice in the pics, there was sunlight when I started. The 2 bolts in the trunk and 1 under the hood were a pain to take out, it took me a while to get those suckers loose.
Started with the hood:
These are what went in:
Out with the old:
Shazam! In with the new:
It stays up!!!
Now for the trunk. The trunk stayed up sometimes with the old ones, but there was no pressure in the old struts.
I pretty much stripped both bolts trying to get them out.
I had so much trouble with these bolts, I didn't even get a full pic of the trunk with the old struts on or removed.
These went in the trunk:
It stays up, and actually takes some pressure to close!
Finished product:
I got my 2 key blanks and door handle (purchased from durps, here on the CL forums):
I will install the handle within the next couple days:

Had the SC300 in the shop to replace the broken fan shroud. This requires draining the radiator as the shroud fits aroundit but the hose is in the way. While they were running the coolant the engine quit altogether as the fuel pump ECU stopped sending signals to the fuel pump....
It is now being held "ransom" until the parts arive.... Ugh!!!!
