Re-did my custom tail lights only to make it look worse. So I had to order some vinyl tint, and strip the VHT nightshades off. Then I get an email saying that my tint is being shipped from china so it won't be here for a month. FML!!

This was very easy, just drain about a gallon of the coolant, take the 2 nuts off the thermostat housing, take the old thermostat out and replace.

Took me about 10 minutes, just remember to burp the system after you put everything together so you don't have any air pockets.

Got her cleaned up with some great Chemical Guys products.

This is how bad the hood looked...construction by my work has taken its toll.

20 year old Black Onyx paint after a wash.

After V7 sealant.

I thought it came out nice.

I washed bird poop off of it this morning. I'm not used to leaving the SC outside. It's always dirty now.

Replaced the OEM Denso starter which began to go bad.
I had thought of doing the Contact-repair Kit, but got lucky and had a Pep-Boys Reward card w/ $95 on it.
So I only had to pay about $20 out of pocket, and got a brand new starter all-together, by Bosch.
I'll tell ye what, not only did it start up beautifully, but (maybe it's just me also) the car itself seems to run somewhat finer now; a lil' more reliably it seems. Is that normal; can a starter produce a performance gain?
Regardless, experiencing that very-first start was fantastic.

Are they any aftermarket/upgrade sort of staters that are any better somehow (just curious)?

Bought two used Pirelli tires to replace the worn out ones on the rear. The car's at the dealer now getting a coolant flush.

Replaced the incorrect air filter with a Mann #1043 filter. That's the brand I always used on my German sports car. Re-connected the license plate lights. The previous owner must have unplugged them. Makes me wonder what he was doing in the dark.

Put the car on jack stands. Getting ready to do a brake fluid flush, ride height adjustment and rear tire replacement.
Much more to come I think.
