What did you do to your SC today?

Oh, man, i remember the days when they would pull me over for the same exact BS reasons. Now 35% tint is legal in Illinois, so I switched to that and no more problems. And I took the license plate covers off, because they are not worth the brain damage from cops. How loud is your exhaust?

Tried to fix the tilt function on my steering wheel. Took things apart and found out my gear needs a washer but it also is stripped. I "coaxed" it enough with a screwdriver to get my steering wheel into the correct tilt for my driving style. It has been stuck up top for a few weeks and it felt like trash up that high. Lowering it to normal levels made a night and day difference......
Also used a little touch up paint on my front end. Got my rear tire patched and absolutely love the fact my rim looks like it has slight curb rash because the idiot at the tire shop was careless with my wheel and let it fall rim lip first to the concrete....

LCD came in from sc40o thanks buddy! And skirts came in as well, the "custom" color the previous owner stated on the ad turned out exactly what I thought it was, Garnett pearl red! so not only did I save cash on the skirts alone I also didn't need to get it painted! Pics tomorrow in te daylight

Agreed, nice exhaust.
Although this kind of bugs me, cars that have dual exhaust with an inline engine. I own one and it kind of bugs the crap out of me. SC300, newer BMW 3 series with the inline six, Honda S2000, just to name a few offenders.
Also cars that have a v engine and single exhaust, once again, I owned two of these. 1999 and 98 Z28 Camaro, it goes from headers, two cats, y pipe, single intermediate pipe, to one muffler, then two exhaust tips from that rear muffler.
If you have a v engine, put dual exhaust with a crossover on it, it always sounds better. If you have an inline engine, one header, one cat, one intermediate pipe, one muffler, one tip. Make that thing straight as possible for more horsepower and less weight. Two exhaust tips is purely vanity, and gear heads know this.

itll take me awhile to get used the the sides they look kinda funky for some reason, i thnk it has something to do with the GS wheels.

Had the Tinting shop install "clear" tinting on the driver and passenger windows that reflects heat and harmful light; in California it is illegal to install any after market tinting (but people do it any way and take their chances).
Too early to tell how effective this treatment is but the specs on the materials are impressive for a clear treatment ("43" rating).

came home tired and decided that i wasn't tired enough. let's drop a subframe. I seriously need to start jacking up the car higher to pull stuff out from under it. my lack of foresight is disturbing.
