^yeah man that's what I was thinking. But I was born in 93' and it's a 93' SC300, and with it being my first car just don't think I can let her go. Ya know? I just drove it on a 150 mile road trip, parked it. Started it up this morning and it drove about 50 feet, then cut off and coasted like I ran out of gas or something. Now it'll crank but won't turn over all the way... Man, this is a ****ty situation.. Just got it fixed 2 days ago!

This weekend was spent updating the "new-to-me" SC400... I replaced the factory antenna, realigned the gas door, installed the stereo I had in my old SC, installed the auto-dimming Homelink mirror, replaced the paseenger-side door latch assembly (the one in the car didn't have an actuator rod for the outer handle), checked the lug nut torque (the shake I was getting when stopping went "Poof"), swapped-in LS400 door handles, replaced some interior light bulbs, swapped in an ES350 wood steering wheel, and checked/filled fluids...
Next weekend gets a little more serious!

My tire went flat today while the SC was sitting in the garage. I might take my SSR's off and put on my chrome LS430 wheels.

My valve stem on one of my SSR's broke so now I've got to take the wheels off this afternoon. I might as well get the wheels refinished once they're off the car.

I got three of my LS430 wheels on the car. One of the hub rings from my SSR's is stuck to hub and won't come off. I spent three hours prying on it and it's still stuck. Stuff like this is the reason I don't drive the car much anymore.

Every time I try to do something simple to the car it turns to a huge hassle. I almost want to smash the stupid car with a sledge hammer sometimes.

That's always the case. You think its a simple 5min job and then turns around to be a 4hr project in which you give up on for that day and decide to do it another day lol. There is no such thing as an easy job when working on the car lol

Removed the badges on the trunk. After wasting much time using the wrong products to remove the glue residue I discovered that I had a can of 3M adhesive remover. That worked better. The badges will be back on the car with a whole new look. Stay tuned.

Applied the final coats of paint and clear coat to the emblems. The paint is a black metallic. Photo doesn't capture the results so well. Up close they look pretty good. Tomorrow they will be back on the car where they belong.

My gearshift finger button cracked an came out and spring is gone. All happened at the dealership . None on car parts or eBay. Grrrr.
