After a few months of owning the new to me SC finally clay bar it....later will polish and wax. It made a noticeable difference it still needs a respray but its not too bad and looks ok. Also removed the old 90s style painted pin stripe that ran down the sides.

Re-installed the hood liner (after rinsing out all of the coolant). Had to swing by the dealership to get some of the plastic holders since I broke a few getting it out.... $1.50 each for a 2cent piece of plastic but as least they had them......

A glorious day!
I took the Hard as a rock Blizzak run flats and heavy assed SC430 wheels off and put them in storage.
I put the Work summer wheels back on, semi-slammed it and had it aligned.
Unrelated side project....
(Slow cooked a badassed spicy 9 pound Pernil, a veal loaf with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, cauliflower (fake) mashed potatoes and 2 salads)

Removed the valve covers in order to install new gaskets and to stop oil hemorrhaging. The valve cover bolts were a little more than finger tight. Of course I'll have to replace a number of rock hard hoses now as well. After I removed the throttle body, I noted that it is coked up badly. Should I bite the bullet and remove the kegger and intake manifolds now and give a good bath, or can I wait for a little while? Gasket set is only $23.00. Never had the kegger and intake manifolds off. is this a big deal?

Cleaned some nooks and crannies. Regina will be in a judged car show next month so I making a small effort to clean her up. Drove her to the Italian car show in Issaquah. She was the nicest non-Italian car in the parking lot. Drove her to the wealthy city of Bellevue for lunch. She was the nicest car in the parking garage. Drove her to an open house in a new housing development near Bothell. She was the nicest car in the neighborhood. See the pattern here. I'm not bragging. She's a nice car. Thank you to the previous owners that made this possible.
