Been in the low 90s for the past couple of days so took it in to have the A/C charged up. It is an R12 to R134 conversion so not too unusual to have leaks. The recently replaced power steering pump dumped loads of fluid on the a/c unit below it so in the future will need to do a major overhaul of the system.

Still, they were able to recharge the system for now and it blew cold all the way home so may get through the hot season and will deal with it next spring. Have had too many repairs this year already so will give the bank account a break for now.....

I got some gas and took it to work. It's staying in the garage all weekend. I bought another LS430 so I'll be driving that all weekend.

Then I'll go back to driving the SC again for work.

I took it for my first FAST drive on the Saw Mill Pkwy after getting new Lower and Upper control arms, full Prothane poly bushing set, new rack and pinion, new power steering pump, new inner and outer tie rods, new sway bar bushings, new end links, new steering shaft and a proper alignment. I also dropped it as low as I can in on NYC roads and set my coils to full stiff. I also installed a new gooseneck holder for my iPad mini that connects via bluetooth to my head unit for music and turn by turn navigation. I wired a 12v x4 adapter into the car directly so it does not have to be plugged into the cig lighter.
I cannot believe how good it feels. It rides like a new (race) car.
I want to go back out and drive it some more but Saturday night traffic in NYC will make it no fun..

There is a reason I named my car Regina. Dressed in black with a pre-disposition for evil. I used the 3M headlight restoration kit today. My headlight lens still looks the same. The only change is the damage I did to the paint on the bodywork in front of the headlight. I hope some rubbing compound and polish will fix it. I hate it when these things happen. Other than that it's been a great day.

Default Brake bracket pin stuck

Replaced my lil sister's brake brackets and pins. One pin on each side was stuck and was burning up the pads. Some day I'll get it and gut it.

1.Just wet sand
2. Buff with cutting compound
3. Buff with polish
4. Step back and peep the shine.

Finally pulled driver side headlight and did one last polish before sealing it for good. Looks like poo but hey it's sealed finally. I'll do passenger side next week. The both came out bad from the delining but the dual projector look is awesome enough and looks stock.
Also I picked up a pair of T1's and a 3000w amp for decent pricing. Installed today but can't finish till tomorrow as I plus the radio and surround and caulked them together (my bracket is cracked and just hangs in there. Gotta let it dry. I also need to find a mounting location for the amp as sitting on the floor won't work for me :/ can't wait till the bumps are back in her.

AEM 3.5 bar MAP.
Time to retune the AEM.....

again....

I remember the good ol' days before standalone.
All I needed was a set of wrenches to have more fun. Now I spend more time on my mac inside the car than outside underneath it
