Reusing the original bulb sockets so the harness stays nice and clean with no soldering or anything.
Changed the rear brake pads. Pain in the *** in this cold, but my noise is gone now. I have a feeling I'm going to have to replace a lot of stuff this year, so much salt and corrosion going on from all the snow. Ride the motorcycle, work on the Lex....
Dropped it off at the body shop today.
In one or two weeks I'll get it back with the front bumper and Vertex front lip resprayed, and a fresh coat of paint on the side skirts, and rear lip which had all cracked.
Also got a Lance alignment done on it on Saturday and installed my new hood on sunday and finished the hood on monday evening.
After all this the car will still have a power steering leak that needs to be addressed, lol pretty sure it's the pump but gonna replace the lines as well, and also the vacuum hoses that go to the throttle body because I get some smoke when the engine is cold and I'm pretty sure the throttle body must be sucking PS fluid through that vacuum hose... which would also explain the odd residue I found in there when I was cleaning out the throttle body back in December.
Had the rotors surfaced, tires turned and then got a wild hair and baked/split the headlights, re-sprayed the housings chrome and sanded off the lines in front of the low beam. Hard to explain but why has no one done this before? It's actually really easy with a drill. I'll have finished pictures tomorrow since it took like 6 hours for one side :/...
I u put in a custom k&n filter and breather since our cars don't come with an aftermarket CAI. Anyway it sounds great and I can feel more throttle response
