Got some HID replacements in the mail yesterday, because my headlights sucked, and i had something curious happen... wondering if anyone else has seen this.
plugged both ballasts and lights in and turned on the lights... passenger side worked great, but the driver's side didn't work at all... thought "well that's great, that one broke in transit" but plugged the entire set from the driver's side into the passenger side and it worked...
so then i suspected the car, or a combo of the ballast and the light, tried all combos of ballast and light on the driver's side and nothing. no combo would work on the driver's side.. however the "stock" bulbs worked fine on both driver's and passenger sides... also checked with a Multi Meter and getting a solid 12V at the sockets...
Has anyone seen this happen? I also noticed that in housing marker light wasn't working on that side... could that have thrown off the HID ballast and not allow it to work?
I apologize if this is in the wrong section, haven't seen a "small questions" thread yet

I would try a harness that connects directly to the battery.
Not a current picture, but I lowered the rear of my car a little more and I'm gonna change my outer tie rods hopefully this weekend. I'm getting my alignment done as well and throwing on my sideskirts.
Bought stock collector back exhaust from the local junkyard for $30 and installed.
No more loud leaky junk-pipe noise tubes!
Also located the source of my paracidic draw, turns out it was the CD changer. This suprised me as it had the same draw with both CD changers I tried?! Must be a harness fault or a common defect?!

Probably worth starting a new thread as you chase that down, as many people suffer from the SC parasitic draw. I personally haven't had any such issues, but I also don't have the stock CD changer. Coincidence? Anything on standby could very well contribute to such things. I removed the unused remote unlock unit partially for that reason.
