I went to emissions test my new 98, passed with flying colors. Got it registered...damn $320.50. Stupid high TN taxes. Then went to Lexus/Toyota and got 2 new filters and Mobil 1 from Wal Mart along with some new wiper blades and more Meguiars Gold Class car wash (I like that stuff). Changed the oil in both my SC300s and am Plasti-dipping the wiper arms on the 98, they weren't that great looking anymore. I spent a small fortune on my cars today :-\ Good thing I didn't buy any parts for my 300ZX, I'd be broke.

Changed out the dash cluster bulbs, disabled the brake light warning lamp because of the 97 tails and removed all of the blue caps. Everything is BMW orange now...and beautiful. Much simpler task than expected.

Seafoamed her. Still chasing that hesitation issue. Seafoam didn't solve it but running noticeably better and no more valve tapping. Not as much smoke in all of the youtube videos though.

Replaced the old radio amp, which was water damaged due to a clogged sunroof drain tube. Also fixed the antenna for the second time, hopefully for the last time.

So my passenger Namamichi door speaker sounded blown out when volume was high, comes to find out the foam surround deterated from age... So I decided to keep the speaker (until new ones arrive) and replace the surround!

Not my proudest work, just took an old speaker cut the rubber surround off of it since it was bigger I had to doctor it a bit. but it sounds great like new again!

Still drying but it will disappear when done!

Bump. Car is running smoother than it EVER HAS. Seafoam, 24 hours and a fresh tank of gas saved me a bunch o cash. God is GOOD

That's an easy way to fix that but you are better off taking that wheel to a tire repair shop and have them remove the tire from the rim and patch it from the inside.

Plugs like you used work but patches are better.

Ordered a New Black Window Trim Panel with Upper Black Speaker Grill for my SC from Lpartsworld.com

It's for the passengers side door and figured it is a good time to replace my old one.
