Just as SC owners know if it's not one thing or another I was contemplating the W58 conversion as I have a SC400 automatic. And not 3 days after dropping loot on my wheels and tires my tranny starts to act up. Nothing major just wants to downshift randomly for no reason. With 165K it might be time to get a rebuild which would shelve the W58 project since I use as a daily driver now.

I hope you can still hold out and do the W58 swap but that is a lot of work when you need the car to run as your DD. At the very least, since you may consider rebuilding the auto tranny anyway it may make a lot of sense to do a mild torque convertor upgrade. It's not a W58 conversion but will be a bit more fun.

the bobber in my tank was knocked loose somehow. took the carpet thing covering the gas tank off to inspect my sending unit. notice it was just kinda banging around in the tank so i snapped it back in place. gonna go and put some gas in tonight to make sure that its fixed.

While bleeding my brakes today, my right rear bleeder decided to break. I then tried to extract it with an easy out, and the easy out broke inside of the bleeder.
End result: I now own two newly rebuilt rear calipers

Swapping radiator this week, seem to have tiny hairline sip leak after driving for over 30min.

^^ I bought that exact doriten on thursday. i never knew saito daigo owned a soarer before his monster jzx100chaser/cresta. and the dude's crazy for cutting up his frame like that... it did make me want a mk4 supra rear subframe though.
