Strange enough, the clay bar wasn't badly contaminated, so I don't know how long ago the paint was touched but for sure it needs some paint correction.
I'm still on the fence about painting it a new color. More important stuff to do with the car first. However those wheels needed an update and I like it.
Your paint still looks good for the age. I don't see any reason to repaint unless you want a color change.

I'm not a fan of black on black, but my friend seems to love flat black wheels.

A pull might not be necessary at your height, but it wouldn't hurt.
I was checking to see if my car needed an oil change today, and I found out my car hit 190k miles today.
Blkexcoupe you could be right. For 25 years I'm amazed at what it it looks like. Late last night I decided to do a section of the hood with some simple compound and here were the results.
50/50
Meg's Ultimate Compound with a Yellow pad and Porter Cable
This was just the first pass. It could use more refinement but for now it seems I've lifted a lot if the oxidation and some swirls. There is pitting from years of stone chips. I'm not sure I'd have the patience to fill each one.

Another 9,996 miles to go before the next milestone!
At the rate I've been driving. That'll take another 3 years.

That looks really good for 1 pass. I wouldn't bother with filling each chip. I would only focus on ones that could potentially rust.
Deleted my spoiler shaved all the holes and primered the trunk lid.
didn't have as much of a tiger stripe this time, this is a rustoleum primer can job to prevent it from rust!
ill paint it once I do all the bodymods.
no shame in my sc game :D
Washed the car yesterday. I love it when these wheels are clean.

Have you considered spraying the bumper and side extensions black primer, so people think your car is matte black from the rear?
You should add all the bodywork pictures to your build threads, so people can see all the progress you've put into that car.
[QUOTE=Blkexcoupe;9979481]Are you using a premade kit or stitching the leather together yourself?
[QUOTE]
the kit's from leatherseats.com I believe. making it yourself, I estimate would take have taken 5 to 10X the more time on top of installing the kit. it was either doing this, or buying seat brackets and a racing seat my son also got a feel of the new leather
Finally finished heat gunning my lip into shape (polyurethane can be a ***** sometimes), and got it test fitted.
Here in a weekend or two it's time for steering wheel, short hub and quick release install, upper and lower control arm install, diff and tranny fluid change, splash guard install, and a few other odds and ends I have to do... will be quite a lot to get done.
Here is a photo of the lip getting ready to be drilled. Kinky, I know.

take a pic after you get it installed, I wonder if it would work on 98+
