got some new Johnnys on the car, 17x9 MB Battles, got the driver side of the interior done with the seat mount welded in. next up is all the maintenance, change all the fluids, change O2 sensors and so on. After that it's ready for the tranny swap.
Flushed out my power steering and since I was working with ATF, decided to drain and replace ATF(not a flush). Both were disgustingly dirty! Might need to replace the PS pump as it now whines during hard slow turns. PS flush was easy. Just disconnect the return tube, add an additional tube length into a receptical, then start the car and keep filling the resevoir. Since a few folks on CL recommend not doing an ATF flush, I'll be doing this about once a month for a while until I get it relatively clean. (trying to make it a reliable daily)
