Wow - that is flat out gorgeous! -

Your car shows that a white SC can definitely be a thing of great beauty.

I'm not done just yet but I made my own recreation of the discontinued HKS TT-5 turbo timer harness for JZZ30 Soarers which will also work on SC's

I added my writeup, notes and pictures here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...l#post10526436

In the picture below I am still missing two smaller gauge wires on Pins 9 and 10. An automatic car would also need pins 7 and 8 populated. I have to order the last couple of wire repair terminals on Monday to finish it.

For a while I wasn't sure if I could find or get what I needed to make this but... success! Almost!

Everything clears the supra tt brakes with plenty of room. I would highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for a meaty tire setup.
I LOVE how good your car looks with those dark five spokes with 295's in the rear! And the body is so clean!

I think you will like it even more once you change the front tires from 225's to 245's

I reset my fuel guage needle to register F on a fill up and painted my tach and speedo needles orange as the LED's are long gone. Still can't see them at night but I may add 2 LED's at the top of the cluster at the upper rim pointing back to the guages so at night I can see the damn needles. I used to have modded LEDS in them but there are 2 voltages: 3.5V on the tach and 10.75V on the speedo (WTH?) so I'd have to regulate the speedo from 12 down to 10 and the tach from 5V down to 3.5V. Ive take that cluster glass off so many times I can do it in a about 5 minutes now. If that doesnt work out, Ill just take the smoked lens off the cluster and put a clear one in its place. @BlkExcoupe, what did you use on your headlights to get them so good looking? Those look better than new.

Finished dropping it like it’s hot. Well, not “finished” but it’s drivable need new tires for the fronts to go lower. Kinda digging the 17s to be honest

After being a loyal SC owner for nearly 7 years(with 3 different SC's in that time) I have finally decided to let the SC and all its glory go bye bye for good. I just can't afford to keep driving her with my 120 mile a day commute. I'm spending over $450 a month on gas... If that wasn't enough the AC is broken, it has rust issues and now a CEL for the catalytic converter. I'm going to do the cheapest fixes possible just to sell her to whoever wants her. I got what I wanted out of this last one, and hit over 200K on it. The engine is still rock solid, plenty of power and well maintained, just with the mileage I do and gas she sips I can't continue sinking money into it any more. It was a great car and I got a lot of good times out of her, but as we grow and change we usually have other needs and wants and the SC just isn't doing it for me anymore. Especially space wise. I never got her perfect the way I visioned her to be one day, life got in the way, but I did do this cool audio build thread which still sounds fantastic today...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...o-upgrade.html

Behold my new ride! I know some people despise these boxes, and I don't know why as it's just a cheap economy car with a lot of cool features that gets great gas mileage. I just picked it up yesterday and did nearly 300 miles in it problem free. Averaged 34 MPG... I said to myself I'd only buy one if it was 5 speed and in my color and after 3 months of searching I found two that both sold before I could get there. Then this one popped up on craigslist and I made arrangements to see it as soon as I could. He said he was low balled a lot even though his price was firm, I only knocked him down a few bucks which paid the travel costs. It has some nice Enkei 17's, and a quality Pioneer stereo in it so that's good, but I'll have to upgrade all the speakers, and borrow my amp from the Lexus build. Also saw a guy on the Scion forum swap in IS300 Leather/Suede seats which is something I hope I can do as the stock seats sit a bit high and have very little adjustment at all.

Anyway I don't think I'll be posting or visiting the site anymore unless it's for IS300 seats in the classifieds, but it's been cool being a part of this forum. I've learned a lot and I've enjoyed it. Maybe one day years from now I'll see an SC I have to have, but until then peace!

^^ It's been great having you with us Biddles! Sad to hear your SC had to go but you've had many great years with it. You never know what the future holds

Nice find with the 1st gen Scion xB 5-speed manual! Not like an SC but it is a great daily driver workhorse that I've personally always liked. Close not in size but in general looks to a Japan-market Kei van. I also would only consider one of those in a factory manual edition. I wonder... thinking on the stupid and silly side... do they take to 1ZZ-GE 6-speed M/T swaps?

Wherever you go from here I'm wishing you luck and safe travels! You'll be missed!

I got some white LED’s for license plate lights. I’ve been using pink/purple bulbs for the past year and I’ve been paranoid about driving the car at night this whole time. I figure it’s not worth getting pulled over for.
