What did you do to your SC today?
#7697
Just had it detailed and windows tinted.
Just picked up my 2nd SC400. 1st one ran great but let her go at 360k. This one has 110k so ways to go yet
Overall great shape and so far tinted today, intergrated Bluetooth to stock radio until I integrate my be Atoto 2din Android radio and new cabin filter.
Mechanically I need to replace tranny mount, bushings and possible coil-overs vers or kyb struts or Monroe's based on money
Anyways here is exterior shot and will post more as cleanup of interior.

Replaced tranny mount
Pretty simple 30 minute job on my 93 400 auto resolved a few noises and better shifting between D/R.
Uncovered another issue with front lower bushing causing a knocking feeling and noise when braking in reverse but not in drive. I can actually see it moving around so I. Know they need replacement.
I think Corolla lowers fit the SC and lot less $$ but anyone have luck with just placing all bushing -- seems like a tougher job but I g them out??

I went to my usual tire shop last week to get my front tires flipped, but they couldn't flip em because the secondary rubber was showing-I was a few hundred miles too late I also inquired about some megan front upper control arms but one vendor has told me they are on backorder with an ETA of 60 days.

Finally got around to changing some weeping heater hoses. Added the flat black windshield banner with some extra vinyl I had laying around. I’ve got a hole burning in my pocket for some coil overs soon to replace the eibachs....

I finally figured out what’s wrong with my SC. My crank pulley split. There used to be a guy on eBay that had them cheaper than I could get from my dealership as an employee, but I can’t seem to find the seller.
Had I bought a brand new one from the start, I wouldn’t be stuck doing this again.

I love your SC and your garage. That’s a cool setup.

Backed it into the garage to replace the clutch slave. Or master. Or the whole clutch hydraulics system. I can get the whole system from AutoZone for like $200. In vintage BMW land the clutch master alone would have been $150 and I possibly would have had to wait weeks for it to come from Germany!
It's definitely weird to be able to buy parts at AutoZone lol.
