Finally did my first detail on the car since purchasing in January. I do need to take the front bumper off and respray since the clearcoat is shot there. Otherwise looks pretty good for a 27 year old car

The wheels are stock IS350 wheels- 17X8 I believe with a 45 offset. The came with nearly new Michelin X-Ice tires for $300. They are rashed a bit, but overall in decent shape. The tires are a bit taller than the stock stance, but I'll live with it for now. Much better than the low offset stock 16" wheels that came with it.

The work you've performed on this over the winter is nothing short of amazing and an inspiration to all of us to refurbish our aging suspensions. Looking real good as always, please share some updated driving impressions once you get some miles on the refreshed setup. Enjoy it!

Looks like you got some really good results, good work. Original paint?

Yes, it is original. body is in really nice shape. Interior is not bad either. I think it's been garaged most of its life with 130K on it. Suspension refresh is in order now...

Gave the car a wash since the wheels were covered in brake dust.

Had the rear part of the exhaust (from midpipe to the back of mufflers) redone to enlarge the piping (3" to dual 2.5" y-pipe and 2.5" to mufflers) and remove the resonators. The resulting sound is amazing with the 264 cams and turbo.

I Covered it after giving it a wash and wax. Next is rebuilt the LS400 calipers and install them with the new stop tech rotors and pads.

I did a little bit of light detailing to my SC today. I washed it, used a clay bar, Iron-X, and put on a coat of wax. It looks better but definitely needs to be repainted.

That is impressive! You did an amazing job on the overhaul. I love the way your Soarer looks.

Can you overhaul my SC like that?
