Are you getting the seats refinished? I would love to do put new leather on my driver seat but I figured it’d be really expensive.

I have been saving up and will have both front seats redone in leather. I decided to go two-tone with the original tan but with brown (that matches the window trim) in the seat and back inserts and perforated; and brown stitching. It will take all week. Pictures for sure when I get the car back (likely Friday).

Repaint of the Silver Spruce Metallic (6M3) but with a slightly darker mix.

That sounds pretty awesome! I bet the seats will look nice. I can’t wait to see them.

I finally picked up my SC300 from the dealership today. State Farm didn’t give me enough money to replace my radio or fix all of the damage. For now I don’t have a radio but at least the black center console looks good in the car.

I’m going to get started on dyeing a few interior pieces black soon to match the center console.

Default Silverado Upholstery - Napa

Finally saved up enough and had the front seats redone on the SC. After 28 years, the leather gave out with cracks starting on the driver side while the seldom used passenger side was okay but weathered. Made no sense to do just one seat so splurged for both.

Assessed several shops in the area using mainly Yelp. Talked to several and visited a couple of shops and chose Silverado Upholstery in Napa. Family run business with years of service in the area. Highly recommended. In Napa, Ca on Silverado Trail and Taylor St.

Fo the seats, wanted a bit of unique style so selected a shade of tan close to the original and opted for brown perforated inserts with dark brown stitching; the brown is close to window trim shade.

Below are 2 in progress pics (with more to come) and a few end results.

.

Being stitched up.

Drive side.

Passenger side.

Head rest.

Put some junk in the trunk, should fit nicely with the trim pieces (may have to do a little trimming).

I picked up some fender liners at one junkyard and a passenger headlight at the other junkyard. I wanted to grab the driver side taillight but the trunk was shut. If I can find a way to pry the trunk open I will grab the spoiler and taillight soon.

Bring a small jump pack and hook it up to the battery, then use the switch under the steering wheel.

That’s a good idea. The front end of the car was pretty messed up but I think the battery area was alright.
