What did you do to your SC today?

Finally got a new carpet from an upholsterer. Had him put the new driver seat in as well as the bracket for the passenger seat. Had the rear seat recovered as well.
New engine and tranny is going in the car in a few weeks and then he will finish buttoning it up.

^^ Lookin oh so fresh!
I replaced the positive and negative battery terminals on the SC. Something good to note: OEM style are still available on RockAuto - keep in mind the positive and negative are two different sizes and require two different part numbers.

Took some pictures of the Corbeau seats and the rear seats with the Ridies covers. Black door panels goes on once the car gets painted. Now off to get an Engine!

I love your seats. Those are the ones I need for my car and since I want to be buried in my car those are the ones I want to go out with. Great addition.

I dropped my car off at the tuner to get the engine upgraded! I have a 92 SC300 manual. We are rebuilding the block with forged pistons, rods, billet mains, etc. New Fuels system, 6870 turbo, brand new head with 272 cams, Haltech Elite 2500, new 6-speed, and some other stuff. Block should be good for 1400hp, hoping to break 1000 on the 6870, then turn it back a bit for daily driving.

Not real exciting like adding a turbo, etc., but today I started to do a spark plug/wires/rotors and caps replacement on my new-to-me '95 sc400. No book or instructions or any tips to help me, so I was hoping for a fairly straight-forward job, as I've done this a hundred times before on my other cars. Uh, well, I have found out there's covers over covers, with hidden screws, wiring harnesses attached through said covers, and lots of things needing to be disconnected just for freaking access! I've got the driver's side done, but am having some head-scratching as to how to remove the pass. side distr. cap's plastic cover, as the screws are even more hidden than the other one. I quit for the night, to restart the fun tomorrow. QUESTION: Do you all reinstall all these various plastic engine trays & covers?

I'm in progress of replacing my water pump for a second time after my first replacement cracked down the middle due to a mis-torqued fan clutch. Never thought my first car would be so much work!
