I'm in progress of replacing my water pump for a second time after my first replacement cracked down the middle due to a mis-torqued fan clutch. Never thought my first car would be so much work!
I installed my new taillights, removed my windshield tint, black vinyl that was on my chrome window trim, and my took off my side window visors.
I want to redo the tint on my windshield and may go a little bit lighter. I had 35% on the entire windshield for over 10 years and it came off really easy. My black vinyl had a few chips so I figured I should redo it. I would love to paint the trim black this time.
I installed my new black leather E-brake cover and my tried to install my grey passenger window trim. I didn’t realize almost every clip and clamp was destroyed on it when I grabbed it from the junkyard. My door panel is in really bad shape too. It looked good until I took the panel off. 😞

Just bondo washers where the clips were. I did that to reinforce my panels. The clips you can get on Amazon.

I’m going to try that. I regret not grabbing a clean passenger door panel/window trim at the junkyard last week. I need to reinforce my current setup until I can afford another set of door panels.
Finally installed my 97 door moldings to my sideskirts! I had the original ones on there which do work and look good in my opinion, but I got these for completion sake. Next up to install my 97 silver side skirts on my black sc! If anyone here is in the bay and wants to come to oakland to help will have plenty of beers to quench your thirst haha.

That looks good. Was it hard to install the door moldings? I grabbed some at the junkyard recently but haven’t put them on yet.

probably one of the easiest things you can install in the SC aside from the airfilter lol. Can be done with a small 8mm wrench assuming all the clips that should have come with them are present. I did it with the wrench in the stock tool kit, took less than 10 mins, thats great you were able to find some they are very rare, what color did you get?
(I hope I can still post on this thread what I did today)
I lowered the Bullet today
basically, rebuilt my suspension. Looks to be at least an inch and a half drop, maybe 2
Details will be coming in my "build" thread
I like the new stance and ride

That sounds pretty easy. I wasn’t sure if anything extra would be needed since I have a 93 SC.
I’ve never seen a 97 SC at a junkyard before. This one was a white 97 SC400. I got a lot of great parts from it but someone destroyed one of the taillights and trunk lid to pry the trunk open. I see maybe one or two SC’s a year there.
