Default New resonator assembly

Finally installed my Vibrant U.Q. Resonator in place of the 3rd "Cali" Cat Convertor- used a matching Vibrant Merge "Y" Collector in front of it for a nice & smooth transition. Made a very slight difference in tone, mostly when I stomp on it. And it feels ever so slightly more free breathing. Of course I saved the stock CC assembly for reinstalling before selling.

I’ll have to get Triple A. It sounds like it doesn’t hurt to have it.

I bet the brakes feel much better. What brand did you go with for the pads and rotors?

This happened yesterday but I was driving to get some food in the evening and noticed my windshield wiper fluid light was coming on during turns. I was passing advanced auto so i figured I'd go get some of the stuff and put it in. Surprisingly they didn't have any of the 'bug cleaner' versions of the liquid so i left and when i went to start the car it wouldn't start. apparently the battery was on its last straw and it died right in front of advanced auto. Went back inside and got a replacement battery. Its funny that it happened in such a convenient location. This is all your fault Kira, your post a few days ago made my car remember it needed a new battery

I waxed my SC and took it to a car meet last night.

My dad was in town over the weekend and gave me a bottle Meguair’s Liquid Ceramic Wax. It’s pretty cool stuff. I’ll apply it to my LS and GS this week.

Kira, I understand that is a good wax. Several guys in our local chapter use it and love the shine. I am jealous, wish my paint job was good enough to wax but one of these days.

That’s good to hear. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Meguair’s products have always been great and it’s at stores everywhere. My dad got a few bottles on clearance at Walmart for $6 a piece.

I understand how you feel. My SC’s paint is starting to fade on the roof and trunk, so the wax doesn’t look quite as good as it should. I need to order that car cover that Blklexcoupe has for his SC.

I finally ordered a new headunit for my SC300. My Pioneer that I’ve had since 2010 got stolen out of my SC last summer and I never replaced it.

Crutchfield contacted me today about a small shipment of the headunit I wanted they got today. It’s been impossible to find any of the higher end Pioneer headunits all year, so I’m really excited about that. I plan to start installing my speakers soon and getting some sound deadening ordered.

Absolutely! It’s scheduled to come in next Tuesday. It’s a Pioneer 3500NEX, single DIN with the fold away screen. I think you’d really like it. I was torn between the 3500NEX and the 4500NEX. The one I got is cheaper and I love the folding screen. The 4500NEX has wireless Apple CarPlay and a few extra features, but is more expensive and a double DIN setup. Both are nearly impossible to get but they were the headunits I was impressed with the most. The Pioneer NEX lineup in general is really nice and your local Best Buy should have them all on display.

That sounds good. I think you’ll like some of the radios they have. They were the only place with a variety of radios.

Since the engine and tranny are out of the car, I had the engine bay painted as well as the under carriage.
