Stripped out the interior and began disinfecting process to remove mold. Round one with vinegar and water. Next will up the game to color safe bleach. If needed I will go to hospital disinfectant. Then I will pull out the blinker module and send it off for rebuilding.

I was able to get that trunk from the junkyard. I’ve got the spoiler in the trunk of my LS. I’ll clean it off tomorrow as it’s really nasty.

Added my own little “custom” M2 styled exhaust. I bought a pair of Magnaflow mufflers off FB Marketplace and 4.5” tips off Amazon. All in this cost me about $400 or so. So far I’m pleased with it!

That exhaust looks great! Which tips did you go with? I need some tips for my GS300 and these look perfect.

Do you have a video of how the exhaust sounds?

Hey Kira! Thanks dude. I looked all over for tips man and I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. Here is what I’ve got:

Amazon Amazon

It sounds basically stock. Only ever so slightly more noise from it. Whisper quiet on the highway. Here’s a short clip, probably can’t even hear the difference on video lol

Thanks for the link and the video! The exhaust sounds great. A nice rumble but not too over the top. I had Magnaflows on my SC300 back in the day and it was a nice sound, similar to yours but without the really nice tips.

Yeah, Magnaflow is a solid choice I feel. Can’t really go wrong.

I realize now that I haven’t updated with my wheels/suspension installed, for those not in my build thread:

You definitely can’t go wrong with anything Magnaflow.

Your car is looking really good. The CCW’s are stunning with the Royal Sapphire Pearl paint.

More details please! How difficult was the install? I’ve been wanting a garage door opener myself. Thanks!

Found this one on ebay for 50 total. its a super easy swap, the screw cover has 3 clasps that you have to pop then there are 2 screws under that. after you unscrew you just unplug the electric cable and reverse all the steps to install the other.

here it is in action
https://streamable.com/tv0ntg

special appearance: neighbors rx350 that sounds like it needs alot of work when he starts it

What year car do you have? I’m just not sure where the electric cable will come into play with my ‘97? If I don’t have homelink stock, I wouldn’t expect a wire harness to be there for me to just click into like that.

Thanks a ton dude.

Nick
