Here's my new wheel and tire setup:

Enkei RPF1 17X8 5-114.30 45 (Front)
Enkei RPF1 17X9 5-114.30 45 (Rear)
Toyo Proxes Sport A/S 225 /45 R17 (Front)
Achilles ATR Sport 255 /40 ZR17 (Rear)
ARP extended wheel studs with 12mm slip on wheel spacers all the way around

I reused my Achilles rear tires since the Toyo Proxes Sport A/S 255 /40 R17 are currently back ordered.

Default 97 bumper installed!

Hey everyone , I just got done with a major front end overhaul on my 95 sc. last year I found an amazing deal on a brand new unpainted oem 97 front bumper from a guy locally, new grill too! I had the bumper painted by my local body shop I do business with and they did a smashing job! While the bumper was off we took care of the front and rear sway bar bushings replaced with Daizen poly, as well as steering rack bushings , a mix of the collar off the Daizen kit and and the solid metal bushings from silky, handles like it’s on rails now. Replaced every single front end bulb courtesy of my friend who works at oriley auto and got me their discount. Got some good used fog lights and the cherry on top are the jdm soarer side markers I got from a local guy brand new! Enjoy!

Default Added a Bumper Lip

Found a bumper lip about a year ago in a junk yard. Finally got around to putting it on. Here are some before and after shots.

I like the look although I’m thinking about painting it red to match the car.

Looks good! I think it looks better black and it will hold up better to rock chips and stuff. Either way, nice. Improvement!

Took it to the Smog Check facility required in CA for registration every 2 years (major rip off but CA wants 25-30 year old cars off the road).

After swapping in the rebuilt/repaired ECU last year, every number across the board measured better than 2 years ago. Not to mention the car is running better than it ever has including the transmission shifting. Even the smog tech commented on how good it is running.

Replaced the PCV hose as it had cracked from the heat. Part #12262. Had to get it from the dealer as had a challenge finding one that matched the OEM. Seems that part number applies to other Toyota models. $28.

Getting the old one off was a bit of a pain since it was so stiff. The new one installed easily being supple and pushed onto the fittings with no problems. Re-used the old clips.

Below is a pic of the old hose and the crack on the valve fitting.

Gave mine a nice wash after work and went for a little cruise down south of town. I've been driving this thing to work almost every day this summer and am thrilled with having the right ECU combo and it's been nothing but a fun, reliable, kick *** car.

How easy are they to pop off in case you need to use the key?
