I spray some tire shine lightly over the whole engine once a year, seems to keep rubber supple. Kinda spreads like it does on tires and shines the whole engine too
but everything has to all ready be pretty clean to do that

It's stuck on by a two sided adhesive pad, which isn't meant to come off.
There were a few extras included so I guess as long as you can get your hands on the pads you can pull it off as much as you want

tasty indeed
Here's my new wheel and tire setup:
Enkei RPF1 17X8 5-114.30 45 (Front)
Enkei RPF1 17X9 5-114.30 45 (Rear)
Toyo Proxes Sport A/S 225 /45 R17 (Front)
Achilles ATR Sport 255 /40 ZR17 (Rear)
ARP extended wheel studs with 12mm slip on wheel spacers all the way around
I reused my Achilles rear tires since the Toyo Proxes Sport A/S 255 /40 R17 are currently back ordered.

Pole Position
Gave mine a much deserved hand wash. A friend picked me up a bottle of Adam's polish/wax and a nice pad to go with my new (Amazon special) buffer. I also applied some Adam's Graphene ceramic coating to my headlights after a good polish. My car is a ten footer - most of the paint is good, but my hood, passenger side fender, and a few little spots just simply aren't worth the time or effort for a hardcore paint correct and ceramic coating. However, I'm excited to use the new wax pad and polish/wax combo regardless. Although I'll probably hit Darcy's (my wife's) Cooper S first since it's much newer with nice paint still.
I'll let you know how the ceramic coating does on the headlights. A good polish goes a long ways, but a month or two later they're always due for a re-do.

901 miles
Well the odo says me and the Bullet did 901 miles this tues wed and Thursday, I'll be posting more on the trip in my build. Here's a pic I took of the car at 4 Corners on tues
If anyone has thoughts of visiting such an Iconic place, all I have to say "Don't bother", The monument is rather impressive but the rest of it is a mess IMHO.
The car was great, flawless as it has been on our trips these last almost 20 yrs. Being a 30 yr old stock, almost untouched car always amazes me
