I was torn between the FA and KW coils when I was getting my suspension. I'm super happy with the KW ride and the 2 way adjustability so I wanted to mention that as an option for your research. Good luck and post some pics!
Finally got the faces back from powder, lips wetsanded and polished, tires mounted and balanced and on the car. Still have to roll the rear fenders.

I stand to be corrected on this statement. Everything I have read is that the slick top car (no sunroof) came with cloth seats. This was a economy version of our cars and one I wish I had been able to find. There was one in a salvage yard down your way at one time that I had bought a few minor parts from and I called them back to buy the roof after thinking about it for a month but it was gone.

That is correct. I think there’s some slick top cars that had leather but only in the early years. I saw one for sale a year or two ago and really wanted it. It had the manual steering column as well.

They’re extremely rare. I’ve never seen an SC like this up close but have seen them pop up online. I’ve seen cloth seats in an LS400 and that was interesting. Some ES250’s had them too. I’m not sure about the connectors though.
It’s interesting because man JDM Celsiors and Soarers have cloth seats.
Looks like there are a few extra pins so my 1995 plug doesn't mate with the 92 plug on the seat. I'd rather have fabrics so I am gonna see what I can do.
Has anyone ever removed the cushions? seems like a *****.
Can you swap plugs by depinning like members do on these alternator swaps that are so poplar? That would be better than cutting one of the plugs off. Just thinking. I bet Kahnn (Craig) would know if he sees this question.

Got around to installing my 3-spoke steering wheel and repositioning my climate control underneath my head unit on my 331k mile SC400
Actually need to go find an airbag adapter now and clear the airbag light I also picked up a '97 cluster with pigtails and the mode switch... if I ever have time to wire in the pigtails I'll get the cluster mileage programmed to match. But we'll see.
*Anyone know if I could swap '92 cluster needles into '97 cluster? So I can have non-orange needles with the cathode backlight?
Now it is my turn. Got my car back today with a new SC 430 Denso alternator on my SC300. I now have 30 extra watts and what am I going to do with them. I will think of something. I am still not over my back surgery so I had to pay someone to install it. But I am coming around. It sure hurt paying someone else to install the alternator.
Oh by the way my Doctor has finally released me drive and it does feel good. First time since January 25th. Good Luck to everyone.
Hey I will be 84 tomorrow and be back with you guys soon.

Well over the past few days I pulled the headliner down and removed the broken "star light" kit the previous owner(s) installed, then reupholstered it with a gray velvet material since the previous owner poked at least 100 holes in the oem fabric and ruined a nearly perfect headliner 😭 it looks much better now, but still not quite oem quality since I couldn't find a color to match the tan and settled on gray.
Finally got my Personal wheel in after 4month wait so the OMP wheel got replaced (OMP wheel is for sale as of the time of this post). So nice to have a horn again and not have to take my hands off the wheel to reach the turn signal and wiper controls
Well the odo says me and the Bullet did 901 miles this tues wed and Thursday, I'll be posting more on the trip in my build. Here's a pic I took of the car at 4 Corners on tues
If anyone has thoughts of visiting such an Iconic place, all I have to say "Don't bother", The monument is rather impressive but the rest of it is a mess IMHO.
The car was great, flawless as it has been on our trips these last almost 20 yrs. Being a 30 yr old stock, almost untouched car always amazes me
What kind of wheels are those? They look really clean!
Put 850 miles on the Bullet this weekend. Went from 7000 ft to sea level and back up to 7000 ft. without a hiccup. Got close to being wiped out by a tornado, sure got drenched. Worst part was paying $7.00 a gallon at sea level.
