I polished my SC and GS’ headlights. Luckily the SC wasn’t too bad so it just took a few minutes. The GS took a while though. I used a cheap headlight polish I got at Ross for $4. Meguairs D105 and 205 got pricey so I figured I’d try this cheap stuff first.

Gave this thing a nice wash, hung out with some buddies, and I've driven it to work every day since getting the tune finished. I love this stupid thing lol.

Default Oil change and safety inspection

Going to Westley Chapel Florida Lexus for a $79 oil change and a free safety inspection that includes a look at my timing belt. Just bought this 2006 and don't see it being changed on https://www.lexus.com/My-Lexus - Sign up here and see Lexus dealer service on your Lexus!

Hello, Had some nice down time, went and did the 1...2 and the 3. Interior, exterior and engine bay. Laid down and polished all the interior w some protectant. Ceramic washed and laid a protective coat on the exterior. Spit-shined the engine, can't spray wash it after water got into one of my plugs.

For a 30 yr old all original (except the seats) daily driver, it looks pretty remarkable. At least to me, because I don't understand how that can be. Every time I look at it, it boggles my mind. It's showing some age, wear and tear, but nothing one would expect. I don't take extra care of it, I've never even changed transmission fluid since I've had it. And I run the hell out of it all over the West.
I think it still has the original starter. I've never replaced it

Found a comfortable place for the night

Driving Zion,
a thrill running these curves in a spectacular place like this. A real Moonscape

So here are some pics, this is about as close up as I have. The wheels are Yoshihara Design reverses, I like them, even named them Gearhead or just gear wheels, for all the bolts, they look machine. Even get shout outs for just the wheels. "Hey man, like your wheels" but I get more "Love the color". Hard to believe get them up here in the mountains 🤷‍♂️

The color varies wildly depending on time of day, cloudy or sunny, stuff like that

This is my signature full size, had a little fun with photoshop

Your SC always looks so good and you go to so many cool places. That color really pops.

Updated a couple LED’s on the car. One step closer to full LED! Upgraded my turn signals to much brighter ones and replaced the city lights with 5500k LEDs, both from VLEDS. Only have the front side markers left on the outside and then some miscellaneous interior lights. Almost there…

Nick,
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine and I believe mine are just as bright today as they were when I installed mine.
Hope 2024 will be a great year for you and your family.
