Powder coated all four calipers after modifying the fronts to fit the car. Rears had like 3 layers of coating that was a PITA to get out. You can see some was left but they turned out great, nonetheless. Bought rebuild kit for all four including new pistons.
Those calipers look great! Are yours powder coated?
No. The body shop that did the respray painted them (in Royal Sapphire Pearl) and applied extra coats of clear. Unfortunately they closed a while back so I used another shop to paint my LS430 calipers (again in RSP) which did not turn out as good….
Fresh synthetic oil change, gear oil, plus, brake fluid, and a good check over on the old girl today. I only change my oil about once a year - I feel like I drive my car a LOT but I don't make very long trips typically and I've got a short and sweet commute to work. Plus, after playing with tuning the standalone it's due for some fresh oil and plugs for sure. Getting her ready for spring cruising!!

I really like the RSP calipers. That looks so good. Did you have any issues with the paint chipping off?
Will you get the LS430’s calipers redone or is it decent enough to leave them alone?
The SC paint and thick clear coat have held up really well and still look good.
The LS calipers were not done properly but not in any hurry to address as they look fine so far.
My only major SC issue to fix are the cluster needles that are burnt out (on the temp gauge and speedometer) but Tanin takes 3-4 weeks so have been putting it off. Maybe late spring or early summer….

Your calipers make me want to try painting my calipers a fancy color like Royal Sapphire Pearl. I need to redo my calipers on both my LS and SC. It’s good your LS calipers look okay so you don’t have to rush to get them redone.
Oh wow, That’s a while, especially if you drive your SC regularly. I need to get mine done soon as well. Are you getting any special color needles or anything like that?
