I actually painted my 71 chevy truck using this and you really cant tell the difference.

Its a lot wet sanding but so far the results are good. I just refuse to pay a paint shop $1000 to spray my car after all of the body work has been done.
interesting, never used the method as my dad had paint guns and shop air to spray what ever we needed.
I have been doing paint and body for about 10yrs as a hobbie. I am new to TX so I sold most of my shop equipment. I considered buying a big compressor. But I will try this way 1st since I have seen the results. Matte paint is very unforgiven and you can see every flaw in it. Like I said so far so good I will post pics of the final results.
